Since January 1, 2012, China adopts the import and export tariff based on the “Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (2012 Edition)” of the World Customs Organization. According to the “Noting for Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (2012 Edition)” established by the World Customs Organization, General Administration of Customs (the “GAC”) organizes the translation of the Revised Text of Noting Provisions of the “Annotations on Import-Export Tariff Commodities and Items (2012 Edition)” to explain as the authority the adjusted items of commodity and commodities involved of the “Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (2012 Edition)” based on the “Annotations on Import-Export Tariff Commodities and Items (2007 Edition)”, at the same time, adjust the part of textual representation of the “Annotations on Import-Export Tariff Commodities and Items (2007 Edition)”.
